Tundra
ORIJEN Tundra has a Puglib score of 9.3 out of 10 (Excellent, 4 of 4 bones) for adult dogs. It is made for all life stages. Its main proteins are lamb, duck and white fish. It has among the most usable protein per calorie of the foods we score.
Score
The Puglib score combines protein (quality on amino acids, and usable protein per calorie against a dog's need) with fat (the AAFCO minimums, plus credit for omega-3s). The protein requirement depends on life stage, so the score can differ by stage:
| Life stage | Puglib score | Rating | Protein | Fat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Puppy | 9.5 / 10 | Excellent | 9.4 / 10 | 9.9 / 10 |
| Adult | 9.3 / 10 | Excellent | 9.1 / 10 | 9.8 / 10 |
| Senior | 9.3 / 10 | Excellent | 9.1 / 10 | 9.9 / 10 |
- Calcium : phosphorus is 1.42 : 1, inside the AAFCO recommended 1:1 to 2:1.
- Large breed puppies: the label excludes the growth of large size dogs, so Puglib doesn't show it for a puppy that will grow large.
